Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: Yes. Ride Janie Ride Foundation is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.  Please visit our Tax Forms page for further details.

Q: Can I register for the event on the day of the ride?
A: Yes. Ride Janie Ride volunteers will assist you with registration on the day of the ride.

Q: Can I pay with a credit or debit card at registration?
A: Yes. Ride Janie Ride Foundation will accept all major credit and debit cards at registration.

Q: Is this ride a rain or shine event?
A: Yes. The ride will take place rain or shine.

Q: Do I have to ride a motorcycle to participate?
A: No. Ride Janie Ride has a spectacular after ride party open to all.

Q: Will I get a T-shirt and goodie bag?
A: Yes. The first 750 participants registered by the Saturday before the event will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag. Day of event participants will receive a T-shirt on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last.

Q: How can I register for the after ride party?
A: On the day of the event, Ride Janie Ride volunteers will be present at the end point from 11:30am to register participants for the after party. If you are registering on our website, you will also have the option to select your starting location at check-out (i.e., "Bike Launch" or "After Party"). 

Q: Is this an escorted ride?
A: Yes. The ride will be escorted with the participation of the local police departments and the Illinois State Police.

Q: Can I nominate someone for recipient consideration of Ride Janie Ride funds?
A: Yes. The Ride Janie Ride Foundation is accepting nomination forms.  Please visit our Nomination Form page for additional details.

Q: Do I have to own or ride a Harley to participate in the ride?
A: No. Ride Janie Ride encourages all makes, models and styles of bikes to participate in the ride.
